The Tagtabazar Cotton Spinning Factory belongs to the Ministry of the Textile Industry of Turkmenistan. The construction of the mill began in 1993 and was commissioned in 1997. The Tagtabazar cotton-spinnig mill is located in the village of Erden of the Erden Gengeshlik of the Tagtabazar etrap.

The main activity of the Tagtabazar cotton-spinning mill is the production of cotton yarn from cotton fiber Nm 20/1, 27/1, 34/1.

The productivity of the Tagtabazar cotton spinning mill according to Nm 44/1 DK is 4500 tons of yarn per year.

Cotton fiber is purchased on the instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan from subordinate ginneries.

 The finished products produced by the order of the Ministry of the Textile Industry if Turkmenistan are released to subordinate enterprises. Finished products are also sold to neighboring and foreign countries on the basis of contracts concluded at auctions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The products are mainly exported to countries such as Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India and China. 

The Tagtabazar cotton spinning mill consists of 9 production departments:

1.    Scutching division (Harman-hallaç -1)

2.    Combing division (Darak) -20 

3.    Ribbon division (I-passaž) -4

4.    Division for production of cotton wool (Vatka) -3

5.    Combing division (Penye) -18

6.    Ribbon division (II- passaž Jer) -4

7.    Roving division (Fitil) -22

8.    Spinning division (Ring) -22

9.    Winding division (Bobin) -10

In the 12 months of 2022, the total value of 53376806.56 manats of cotton thread was produced. In 2022, a total of 4213.5 tons of cotton thread was produced. 21,609,185 manats were profited from selling products during 12 months of 2022, the profit rate was 28.2% throughout the year, and the plan was fully fulfilled!

Currently, the mill employs 407 people.
